=&2=& Anglers have been thrilled with consistent encounters with the big game. Marlin and sailfish are biting well, providing heart-pounding battles for experienced and novice anglers alike. Dorado, or mahi-mahi, have been plentiful, their vibrant colors and spirited fights making them a favorite among all. Tuna schools have been found closer to shore this month, offering fast-paced action and plenty of meat for the dinner table. The dorado action has been picking up significantly here in the bay making it easy for some short charters of 4 to 6 hrs for fishermen that don’t want to spend all day fishing on a boat. Be sure and call or email before coming down. We offer an online fishing report and an instant fishing report daily via our toll-free 800 number. More than happy to answer any questions you might have before coming down to Nuevo Vallarta.
=&3=& The inshore scene has been equally impressive. Roosterfish are on the prowl, their acrobatic jumps providing thrilling moments for sight-casters. Snapper populations are thriving, offering steady action for those seeking a delicious catch. The live bait has been the best trick for both of these fish. The trolling method has worked equally as well on most days. We have bottom-fished in some of our best places with some good results. Cut bait and of course live baiting has done the trick.

- Live bait has been extremely effective for targeting marlin, sailfish, and tuna.
- Trolling with lures in various colors has also produced great results for these pelagic species.
- For dorado, look for birds and debris floating on the surface, which often signal their presence or any debris that is large floating in the water will hold these fish.
- Sight-casting to roosterfish is an exhilarating experience, so keep your eyes peeled for tailing fish.
- Snapper can be caught using a variety of techniques, including live bait, artificial lures, and bottom fishing.
