As February unfolds in Nuevo Vallarta, reflecting on the exciting winter months gone by brings a smile to my face. January treated us to some thrilling rod-bending action amidst fantastic weather, incredible fishing, and some amazing catches. A trend that seamlessly continued into February. The pelagic fish have graciously lingered throughout the winter, with morning temperatures dipping to a cool 63 degrees, only to rise to a perfect 76 in the afternoon. It amuses me to see locals donning jackets in what I consider mild 63-degree weather during my commute to work. These temperature patterns have persisted over the past few weeks and are expected to continue into February.
