November in Nuevo Vallarta is a fisherman’s dream. As a seasoned captain, I can confidently say that this month offers some of the best fishing of the year. The waters are teeming with life, and the action is non-stop.
The Big Fishing Tournaments in Nuevo Vallarta and the surrounding areas
November is a busy month for fishing tournaments, and we’re gearing up for two major events:
Los Muertos Tournament (November 8 th. and 9 th): This local tournament is always a blast, with plenty of boats competing for big prizes. We’re targeting mahi-mahi and sailfish, and I’m confident we’ll be in the running for top honors again this year.
International Tournament (November 13 th. until the 16 th. of November): This is a world-class event that attracts anglers from around the globe. We’ll be going after the big boys – marlin, sailfish, tuna, and mahi-mahi. The competition is fierce, but the rewards are huge.
This year there will be many cash prizes and lots of other prizes as well here in Nuevo Vallarta fishing charters.
Prime Fishing Conditions and fishing rates
November brings ideal fishing conditions to our waters. The water temperature is perfect, the baitfish are plentiful, and the big game fish are hungry. Whether you’re an experienced angler or a beginner, you’re sure to have a memorable fishing experience. The water cools off a bit in November to around 78 deg. There are perfect conditions for marlin,wahoo,saifish,tuna and mahi-mahi. Each species of fish has their preferred temperature of water. Wahoo like the water a little cooler while tuna like the water warmer. Both of these pelagic fish are here for the taking in November.
Inshore and Offshore Adventures
We offer a variety of fishing trips to suit every angler’s needs. For those who prefer inshore fishing, we can target Spanish mackerel, yellowtail, mahi-mahi,roosterfish and snapper. Our 4-6 hour trips are perfect for families and groups of friends. These are bay trips and also have the chance to see the incredible humpback whales . The whales are here from November to March.
For the serious angler, our 6-hour and 8-hour offshore trips are the way to go. We’ll head out to the deep blue and target marlin, sailfish, tuna, and dorado. The excitement is unparalleled, and the memories will last a lifetime.
