Water Conditions The water temperature is a perfect 82-84 degrees Fahrenheit, creating optimal conditions for a variety of species. While we’ve had some typical summer showers and breezes, the overall weather has been fantastic for fishing. The clarity varies, but we’ve been able to spot plenty of baitfish and structure. Using the Terrifin app, we’ve found some incredible temperature breaks and blue water patches that are holding the big ones!

Offshore ActionTuna: It’s a tuna bonanza out there! Yellowfin are the stars of the show, with plenty of big fish being caught around 120-300 feet. Deep dropping with downriggers has been incredibly effective, but live baiting with skipjack or flying fish is still the top producer. We’re talking explosive bites and some real trophy-sized tuna!Sailfish: Although not as plentiful as the tuna, sailfish are still putting up a good fight. We’ve been finding them in the deeper blue waters and have had some exciting hookups.Marlin: While not the main attraction, we’ve had a few black and blue marlin show their faces. Every time that line screams off the reel is pure adrenaline!

Inshore and Bay The inshore action has been phenomenal!Snapper: Dogtooth snapper are on the chew around the islands and rocky points. Live bait and artificial lures are both working great, and we’ve landed some real monsters!Roosterfish: These acrobatic fighters are providing non-stop excitement. Topwater lures and soft plastics are the baits of choice, and we’ve been finding them around the jetties, river mouths, and sandy beaches.
