Nuevo Vallarta fishing report for May

Here in Nuevo Vallarta, the fishing is looking up just like the party we had for 5 de Mayo.  What a fun time and even more fun on the water where you are sure to have a great day fishing with us.  We love a good party and Mom’s day is coming up in a few days.  Everyone enjoys catching marlin when on vacation here in Nuevo Vallarta. The stripers are luring around with the water warming up but starting to see some black and blue marlin offshore. When the water get to  78 deg. mark we start seeing loads of these incredible pelagic fish. Most of these are 8 to 10 hrs. Trips. The dorado’s action are still here but not good numbers.  We have been catching some of these fantastic eating fish. They not only fun to catch but can’t be beaten for the grill. With some much bait moving into the bay we will see some hot fishing this summer and coming months.marlin fishing in nuevo vallarta

The bay fishing action has been better than steady. There have been incredible fishing for yellowtail and those fish have been plentiful. Some days we have caught them on the surface feeding.   A few days fishermen had to stop because the action was so consistent. Some days they started feeding and would not stop. The perfect conditions are just right and there are still plenty of baitfish here it always keeps them around for a while longer here in Nuevo Vallarta.
The Spanish mackerel, California Bonita, and snapper have kept the inshore folks happy and the chefs happy as well. Who doesn’t like some grilled snapper? The water temperatures are on the rise and will be until the rainy season hits this June. Then the real fun starts. nuevo vallarta fishing
Until then we will just have to be happy with sailfish and marlin offshore. Along with this superb inshore fishing we are having this is enough to keep all anglers happy.  We have some of the best prices in all of Mexico.
Hope to see everyone out there on the water here in beautiful Nuevo Vallarta where some of the best fishing happens in Mexico
